Did you know every day we are exposed to more toxic chemicals inside our homes than out? The EPA reports that Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs...gases emitted from certain solids & liquids such as cleaners) can be 2-5 times higher in your home than outside!!
Think how much of your day...and your childrens' day...is spent inside your house! Pretty scary.
I know there is no way for me to protect my children from ever being exposed to hazardous chemicals & toxic cleaners (because I do live in the real world and not in a sterile bubble)...but I also know I can make my home safer & healthier so I can help them avoid repeated, unnecessary exposures in our own house.
