The last poll question I had on my blog asked what percentage of children's poisonings take place in the home? Responses were tied between 50% or 93%.
The answer...a shocking 93% of poisoning involving children take place in our own homes! Scary! Most poisonings in the home happen between 4-10 pm., which makes sense--it's when our children are home from school or daycare. And most homes are filled with items that make poisoning a high risk.
